Round table discussion with citizens
Using patient data for research – what do citizens/patients think about it?
To figure this out BBMRI.at organizes its 5th series of round table discussion. The opening discussion will take place March 17, 2018 in Innsbruck. Further discussion events will follow in Vienna and Graz.
Citizens between 18 and 99+ years are invited to participate and can register for the discussion by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The focus is on the topic "Use of (health) data" for research.
- There are no requirements for participants to have previous knowledge or experiences with this topic.
- Date: March 17, 2018, 14:00-17:00
- Location: Medical University of Innsbruck
- Participants will receive a remuneration (30 EUR).
For BBMRI.at - the Austrian Biobanking Research Infrastructure - it is important to learn about the opinions and attitudes of the citizens. Conducting these round table discussions is one means to engage the public. The BBMRI.at partner University of Vienna will moderate the discussions.
