BBMRI.at led the development of the European norm “CEN/TS 17626:2021 Molecular in vitro diagnostic examinations – Specifications for pre-examination processes for human specimens – Isolated microbiome DNA”.
CEN Technical Specifications (CEN/TS) and ISO standards on pre-analytical workflows
The norm is part of a family of CEN Technical Specifications (CEN/TS) and ISO standards on pre-analytical workflows, which were all generated in the context of the H2020 project SPIDIA4P. They are international standards relevant for in vitro diagnostic manufacturers, diagnostic laboratories, regulatory bodies, research and biobanks as they represent the state-of-the-art.
Now this standard is available in its German version
The standard ONR CEN/TS 17626:2021 Molekularanalytische in-vitro-diagnostische Verfahren – Spezifikationen für präanalytische Prozesse für menschliche Proben – Isolierte Mikrobiom-DNA is now available, for example at the Austrian Standards Institutes.
