2nd BBMRI.at Pre-Analytics Course successfully held

2nd  BBMRI.at Preanalytics Course held together with BBMRI.fr Biobanque in Nice, France

 

 

BBMRI.at organized its 2nd Pre-Analytics Sample Processing Course together with BBMRI.fr Biobanque in Nice (May 19-20, 2016 Nice, France).

 

The course focused on the preanalytical factors influencing sample quality and the implementation of  recently published CEN technical specifications which will become ISO Standards for sample quality soon.

 

Participants from France, Malta, China and Sweden learned what to consider when collecting and processing tissue and blood samples to achieve optimal sample quality and how to be conform to the CEN technical specifications. They also learned in the lab how to isolation nucleic acids.

 

The course was held together with the Joint BBMRI national node meeting and was part of the H2020 project ADOPT BBMRI-ERIC.
