Successful BBMRI.at/it/cy/cz meeting to strengthen synergies

Experts from the Biobanking Research Infrastructures of Austria, Italy, Cyprus and the Czech Republic met in Graz to give close insights into biobanking activities in their countries. Aim was to find new areas and ways to establish and strengthen synergies.

With over 70 participants, the meeting organized by BBMRI.at was well visited. Speakers from the four participating countries talked about various aspects of biobanking, with particular focus on how to integrate biobanking in healthcare.

In addition to presentations, a site visit of Biobank Graz and of the Digital Pathology facility was organized.

A follow up meeting in Italy is planned for the first half of 2020.
