Now available: SPIDIA4P Newsletter – 2024/2025

Stay informed – Latest developments in ISO & CEN standards and sample pre-analytical Biospecimen Proficiency Testing Program and more in the SPIDIA4P newsletter.

The EU project SPIDIA4P has developed over 20 quality standards for sample pre-analytics together with international partner and the standardization bodies ISO and CEN to which BBMRI.at experts from Med Uni Graz contributed or head a leading role.

Although SPIDIA4P has officially ended, its mission is being actively continued by former consortium members.

In the current newsletter, read about:

  • Pre-analytical standards undergoing a systemativ revision:

  • The CEN/CENELEC Standard + Innovation Award 2024 was awarded to Kurt Zatloukal (former BBMRI.at National Node Director & Coordinator, Instand-NGS4P coordinator and SPIDIA4P member) for his extensive contribution to standardization. Congratulations!
  • SPIDIA4P project members support new SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics
  • Updates from other consortia involving SPIDIA4P members – such as the EU project MICROBE, and GenomeMET where BBMRI.at is actively involved and where SPIDIA4P’s legacy lives on, recognized and carried into new fields.
