News from the INSTAND-NGS4P project which works on optimized NGS workflows
INSTAND-NGS4P, a pre-commercial procurement project coordinated by BBMRI.at partner Med Uni Graz, is working to develop a fully integrated, standardized NGS workflow for routine diagnostics to improve cancer patients’ benefit in therapy decisions and drug safety.
What’s new?
Phase 1 has been successfully completed. In this phase, the contractors presented their proposed solutions for the Lots, which included workflows for sequencing, detection of genomic aberrations of cancer cells, and predictions regarding drug efficacy and dosage to improve patient safety.
Phase 2, which focused on developing the prototypes proposed in Phase 1, started in November 2022 and the innovative interim results were presented during the Consortium & Contractor Meeting in Vienna, Austria in March 2023.
