BBMRI.at, Biobank Graz and BBMRI-ERIC at the Long Night of Research at ZWT
Numerous visitors came to the Long Night of Research 2016 at the Medical University of Graz and the Center for Knowledge and Technology Transfer in Medicine (ZWT) on April 22 to learn about recent research and experience it up close.
At the BBMRI.at booth at the ZWT, visitors were informed about the work and importance of Biobank Graz for research, medicine and patients. Around 825 people attended the various stations at the ZWT.
They also had the opportunity to view tissue under the microscope and learn about different organs, e.g. that the appendix is only a few mm in diameter. This hands-on activity was especially appreciated by children.
