BBMRI.at biobanks among the first with collections meeting CEN/TS requirements

Biobank Graz and MedUniWien Biobank declare the quality of their collections and samples and display them in the online BBMRI-ERIC Directory and national BBMRI.at Catalogue of Biobanks and Collections. Using the “Self Assessment Survey” – an online tool jointly developed by BBMRI-ERIC QM Experts and BBMRI.at – all BBMRI.at biobanks have started to evaluate their collections with respect to the CEN/TS requirements.

The first collections which meet the requirements of corresponding CEN/TS are now displayed in the BBMRI.at Catalogue. More are on the way.

Two BBMRI.at biobanks are among the first five biobanks within BBMRI-ERIC that have reported their survey results to BBMRI-ERIC to publicly declare the quality of their sample collections. They will soon be highlighted in the BBMRI-ERIC Directory.
