The renowned international life science competition “BoB – Best of Biotech” is taking place once again
The international competition “BoB – Best of Biotech” is back for another round. Now in its 11th edition, it seeks innovative business ideas in biotechnology and medical technology—offering attractive prizes, professional coaching, and valuable connections within the life science community.
This year marks the 11th edition of aws BoB, which seeks the best business ideas in biotechnology and medical technology. Researchers, students, and innovators from all areas of life sciences who want to turn an innovative business idea into a successful start-up are in the right place here.
From April 1 to June 13, 2025, participants can submit their annotated pitch deck in one of four competition categories and benefit from expert feedback, training webinars, and individual coaching.
In addition, BoB offers high visibility and valuable networking opportunities within the life science community. An international jury will evaluate the top projects, which will be awarded at a festive award ceremony in Vienna on October 14, 2025.
Attractive cash prizes totaling €32,000—sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim, Takeda, Erste Bank, and LISA—as well as free tickets to major industry events such as BIO-Europe are up for grabs.
